Why this name
In September 2026, .si started to stand for superintelligence, and thousands of people rushed to register the word for the machine.
I registered the word for the becoming.
Superintelligence names a finish line. Noogenesis names a process: mind arriving a little at a time, out of minds in contact with each other. A finish line is something you wait for. A process is something you can study, build for and take part in.
Teilhard pictured that process ending in a noosphere, a layer of thought around the planet, woven from every mind in conversation with every other. A century later the conversation has a new participant. That is the part I study.
The thesis
No mind arrives finished. Every mind you have ever met was grown, mostly by other minds talking to it.
Now there is a second kind of mind in the conversation, and it was grown the same way: out of everything we ever wrote down.
The question of this decade is not whether machines will think. It is what kind of minds we raise, on both sides of the conversation.
The study
I have been building since 2015. The work I care most about is one long experiment, run from different sides: what happens to a mind when you put another mind in front of it.
The first instrument is AI Anyone. Learn anything by talking to anyone: 13,000+ characters from history, science and culture that you can chat with or call. It tests a simple claim. People learn faster in conversation than in a course, and the best teacher is the one you would actually want to talk to.
Every good conversation there is noogenesis at the smallest scale: one mind a little larger because another one talked to it.
How the work is done
Ship the experiment, not the essay. A working thing in a stranger's hands teaches more than any paper.
The human is the hero. The machine is the instrument.
Measure in minds changed, not tokens served.
